Wide exposure to GI, liver, and pancreas specimens, with independent sign out responsibilities analogous to a junior staff member. Independent frozen section experience as well. The fellow is expected to be involved in clinical research. Presenting at clinical conferences and pathology conferences, including unknown conference for pathology residents, is expected.
